Peter Horricks PT/Owner

Peter Horricks has owned and operated both Stafford and Fredericksburg Physical Therapy since 1987. His approach with patients has always been personal, thorough and diligent. After 30 years, every patient's well-being and recovery is still a top priority. Peter is a level 1 and level 2 Advanced Dry Needling specialist. He is also certified in the Graston Technique to better serve his patients. His outside interests include coaching youth ice hockey, scuba diving, skydiving, the outdoors and spending quality time with his family.

Nicole A. Smith BS, MSPT

Nicole received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Her undergraduate degree was Sports Biology in 1996 and her graduate degree was Physical Therapy in 2000. Her treatment approach focuses on manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques. She utilizes muscle energy, joint mobilization, myofascial release and kinesio taping to enhance and optimize each patient's treatment. She spends her personal time volunteering with her church and spending quality time with her family. She enjoys yoga, pilates and gardening.

Eva Collins LPTA

Eva received her Associates of Science degree for Physical Therapist Assistant at Kapiolani Community College in Honolulu, HI in 2000. She has been licensed in the state of Virginia since 2001. Eva specializes in therapeutic exercises, Neurological rehabilitation, Spinal rehabilitation and stabilization and aquatic therapy. Her outside interests include gardening, cycling, hiking, reading and spending time with her family.

Selena Barefoot LPTA

Selena received her Associates of Science degree in applied science at Northern Virginia Community College in 2002. Selena has worked in various physical therapy settings. Her professional areas of interests include sports medicine and post-operative rehabilitation. She specializes in sacroiliac joint dysfunction, rib dysfunction as well as dysfunction of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Some of Selena's outside interests include spending time with her family, reading and watching movies.

Fanika Khaziyeva, LPTA

Fanika Graduated from Kingsborough Community College Brooklyn NY in 2004 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science, from the Physical Therapist Assistant program. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in Brooklyn College NY. She practiced as a PTA at the local hospitals, outpatient facilities, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living, and Adult Day Care in New York. Fanika moved to Virginia in 2007 and has been working in Home Health agencies and Nursing Homes before coming to us in January 2016. Fanika enjoys reading, gardening, biking and traveling the world.

Charissa Alexander ATC

Charissa is a certified Athletic Trainer with a Bachelor's degree in health sciences from James Madison University in 2001. She specializes in therapeutic exercises, specialty taping and sports specific rehabilitation. Her outside interests include spending time with her family, running, yoga, baking, reading and cookouts with family and friends.

Shannon Polivka LMT

Shannon has been a licensed Massage Therapist for over seven years. She is currently continuing her education in the physical therapy field by attending Physical Therapy Assistant classes. Her specialty areas are deep tissue massage, Swedish massage and prenatal massage. She loves to spend time with her children, husband, family and beloved animals. Her outside interests include swimming, cycling, shopping and outdoor activities.

Lizbeth King

Lizbeth received her graduate degree in Physical Therapy from the Metropolina University in Barranquilla, Columbia. She is fluent in both Spanish and English which resulted in her training special forces in Spanish immersion at Fort Bragg, N.C. for foreign operations. Lizbeth specializes in Pediatric physical therapy and rehabilitation and women's health. Her many passions outside of work include family, running and cycling.

Kelly Robinson Office Manager Extraordinaire

Kelly has over 12 years experience in billing and customer relations. She enjoys helping others and always greets patients with a smile and a helpful attitude. Any billing question or problem is no problem for Kelly because she enjoys making the insurance billing experience of your visit simple. She enjoys spending time with her family, sewing outfits for her kids, watching movies, playing games and the outdoors.

Patsy Light Front Office Coordinator

Patsy has been working at Stafford/Fredericksburg Physical Therapy for almost two years as the office manager. She is a graduate of the Rappahannock Regional Justice Academy and worked in law enforcement for seven years. You might know Patsy and her husband Chris as the past owners of a thriving scuba shop in the area where they were responsible for teaching scuba lessons and organizing various trips for many members of the community for years. Patsy says, "I enjoy working with people, I have strong communication skills and I love pulling a team together. I enjoy working the front desk where I hear first-hand what a great team we have and how much our team helps people continue living their lives more comfortably. I feel that I am working with the best Physical Therapy team in the Stafford/Fredericksburg area." In her free time, Patsy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, fishing, football, and reading.

Jessica Laudenslager, Assistant Manager

Jessica has fifteen years of customer service and has been in the medical field as a CNA for six years. She enjoys working in an office setting and is knowledgeable with billing and collections. She spends most of her time with her family and friends. She enjoys cooking, animals and spending time with her beautiful kids.
